ABX eye drops?

Is there such a thing as abx eye drops?

The reason I ask is because the eye, and in particular, the vitrieous fluid, is a safe harbor for lyme spirochetes. The spirochetes like to hang out in the gel-like fluid inside the eye because there is no blood flow in there.

I'm pretty sure that I have lyme in my eye, because whenever I feel really "lyme-sick" my eyes go blood shot. This also happens when I get a lot of stress.

I was wondering if there's such a thing as abx eye drops that could kill the spirochetes in the eye. I'm not sure if even eye drops would really penetrate into the gel fluid inside the eye.

Yes there is such thing as antibiotic eye drops that can be prescribed by a doctor. My LLMD told me they are not needed even if the eye is infected. He said the abx do get into the eye just from the blood that flows there so they are not needed. And other reported their eye symptoms have improved 100% just from abx or herbals.

All day has them...carful of floxy ones...dancing bee acres has some with bee venom i may try...

I complained of my blood shot eyes to my doctor and looking like a "stoner" and I was told that with treatment my eyes would get better. They did but not fast enough for me. I was always telling my friends that my eyes were due to lyme. I was so self-conscious.

Ya bottom line is that they really aren't needed. My eye symptoms went away with treatment. And ya I'd be careful not to take the fluroquinolone eye drops as they can cause retinal detachment.

I haven't read up on bee venom. Does it work like an anti-biotic?

I wonder if putting bee venom eye drops in could do damage.

I'm not sure if vitreous gel has blood vessels in it. I thought I read that it is completely sealed off, but I could be wrong.

I always get these like red strips of bloodshot-ness between my pupil and my nose. It's weird, I can tell that my eyes are blood shot without even looking in the mirror. I get certain lyme symptoms, and I can tell if it has set off the bloodshot eye reaction.
