severe calf pain and weakness on both sides

My last question of the week. Do you guys experienced severe calf pain before starting your treatment? I have it 24/7 with just a little relief once in while? My calves feel like my muscles are not taking any rest at all.... real pain and weakness. Also my calves spasm a lot sometimes my shoulder does too but much more in the calves. Just want to know because I'm still afraid of having something else even knowing that i just have one disease else to be ruled out that is mitochondrial disease through the muscle biopsy that I'm getting done tomorrow. The fear never ends.

As many symptoms clear, the symptom of cramping and aching calves remain.... I am focusing on the lyme protocol first, but think I should probably begin to look at co-infections even though blood work was negative. These symptoms actually began after treatment... hmmm...

I've been down the same road when lyme first started checking into everything making sure it's not "something else". After all the run around, you realize it is "just" lyme and co pretty much causing everything either directly or indirectly.

Sore muscles are very common (any of them) and muscle weakness is also common. I remember trying to exercise and my my legs would shake and tremble a bunch. I was scared my legs would give out going up and down stairs (never did). When I would lean up from laying down my abdominals would all tremble. Just weak muscles everywhere. It's definitely a symptom and not a separate condition because it does get better and fade away.

If it was something else that was legit it would most likely be constant.

robby - I know how you are feeling. I remember those days when I didn't know what was wrong with me...Doctor after Doctor...imaging, lab work..

I sat in the Neurologist waiting room...and said to myself "Please, please let it be MS...not ALS"
I was so scared that I was going to have an ALS diagnosis. At that time my muscles were weak...and my legs were shaky. I also had tremors in my hands.

But, he ruled out both MS and ALS. Then I had a positive Igenex for lyme...and cried tears of joy.

RV - I have on/off pressure in my calves - happens randomly and it does scare me because it feels like blood vessels are going to pop or something - it's that intense. Sometimes, at the time of that pressure, I do find my toes have some blue/purple spots - blood vessels did burst. That exact same feeling that I get in the calves I also experience in my arms - out of the blue, this pressure runs from the top of my arm straight down to hands and it is so scary and as I look down I notice one or two parts in one or couple fingers have turned blue/purple . Which tells me that blood vessels have popped. So friggin annoying. I went to Dr. about it way back and they just could not figure it out they said after blood work was done, stress test etc.

I also get the internal "bruising" and blood specks and spots. I've heard it's blood vessels that burst, I've also heard it's the bacteria dying. I'm going to go with the former since bacteria dying is on a microscopic level (but I could be wrong).
