hey all,
I'm presently on the following abx: azithromycin, batrim, amoxycillin, flagyll, plaquenil.
Looks like my liver is struggling. Any thoughts? Seeing my doctor in a month. Here are my labs from last week:

I had the same issue but those lab results all came down.
How long have you been treating for?
Often you might have a transient increase in liver enzymes, that will come and go. If it remains elevated, that could mean you should take a break.
However, it is very likely that it will go down and you will not have any issues.

I had elevated liver enzymes - bilirubin, AP, and either ALT or AST (can't remember which - but not both - my GP only tests me for one of them)
Your ALT is the only one that might be concerning...the GGT and AST aren't too bad.
You might need to take a break. Don't worry, they should come down quickly...mine did.
And...then when I started up again...with Rifampin and mino (Rif is known to be hard on the liver) - they didn't go up again...not yet anyway...that was last July.
Try not to worry...I know it's hard not to.

Toronto - This is off topic - but did you have any results with the BVT?
