It has been talked about
here. I remember one member said not to stop treatment in the winter.
For me, spring and summer are the best.

I think one reason is because so few people notice and make that connection, but it's obvious by watching any of the Lyme forums. Every year at this time, we get super busy - we are actually running a bit late this year for some reason - maybe people were just busy.
And again there's a spike in the number of new members and posts during the Fall as well.
I noticed it in my own situation as well, but the severity was completely tied to what I was going through. When I couldn't tolerate temps above 80 or below 76 (wow, was that ever miserable!), Summer was a killer and so was winter. But otherwise, usually those are my 'better' times.

I was just thinking about
this. Winter was bad. The cold definitely makes things worse. Spring was awesome (even with allergies).
However I'm heading into my first summer (in the southeast) and I literally just thought about
it this afternoon. When it's 98 degrees with a heat index of 108 in Hot-Lanta will symptoms get worse?
I would imagine extremes in any direction would not be good for it.
Well here comes my first ATL post-lyme summer. I guess I'll hold on tight.

I definitely agree with Traveler. I've connected my lyme pattern to a lot of different things, but never factored in the seasonal pattern. Mine seems to be very similar to your kids, actually.
Interesting brain teaser, thanks for bringing it up :)

I'm one that is definitely affected by the seasons. Winter is the worst for me by far. Multiple daily rashes and tiny itchy bumps until about
April then it's just sometimes. I also feel much worse in the winter. Summer is best for me. Seems like that's the consensus so far.

It definitely is a factor for me. It starts in fall and progressively gets worse. In the summer the heat is a killer but I stay inside on those days. As long as I stay in the air conditioning and out of heat and humidity I am ok.
