I tested positive thru lab corp western blot back in february while on antibiotics had a call from CDC regarding test, now i did another lyme test thru lab corp and only igm p23 and igg positive. Does anyone know why? i am on antibiotics and worst than when i started back in November.

The tests can't be relied on..they are based on your body's ability to mount a response to the bacteria.
It could be that your immune system isn't able to respond at this time.

I did read that sometimes when we are on antibiotics it will suppress the ability to produce the antibodies.

Thank you Girlie, it makes sense. I guess i tested positive initially with the antibiotic challenge test, and now being on antibiotics for 5 months its suppressing the immune system.
