Does anyone get a sort of strange patterned rash? Almost like a red spider web on a large portion of skin. I get it a lot, but especially after heat exposure. Wondering what it is and if it's indicative of anything. I took a picture but not sure how to post it.

I think it might be Livedo reticularis.


Some people with lyme get it.

Girlie, Wow that's exactly right! I just looked up a picture of livedo reticularis and that's exactly what it is. I see it can be caused by slow blood and anemia, both of which I have. Thanks for helping me solve the mystery. I've never had it last so long as this time. I see that it can be permanent and I wonder whether I am now permanently discolored! So strange.

Yes - it is strange. I have a blob about the size of a baseball on the back of my left calf. I've had it for 2-3 yrs. Mine can't be associated with cold because it's not cold where I live. And I guess mine is permanent. I'm on so much blood thinner that I can't believe it's slow moving blood. I doubt I'm anemic. Strange...

I think it can be anywhere though usually my legs. Right now it goes from my knee all the way up to my thigh, quite a big area of skin. This is also the first time it's hurt.

marigold-you may try to google meridian lines body and see if the rash generally follows one of the body meridian lines. This can give you a big hint on how to treat it. It doesn't always work but I am amazed how often it does-then again this has been used for ten thousand year and is still taught to students in part of the world.
