I've had problems with daydreaming for years now. I had lyme undiagnosed for 7 years and did 3 years on treatment. A few years ago I found something called "maladaptive daydreaming disorder". It sounded exactly what i was experiencing!! Except...
Now that i'm off treatment and still having some problems, I've been noticing a few things. While on treatment I did have mental problems and this past year in college I started seeing a counselor/therapist at school. She brought up if there was a possibility of the Daydreaming being connected to Lyme/health problems? I thought about
it but since i stopped seeing my original Lyme doctor and my second Lyme doctor was pretty bad, I had no one to ask.
But now I've slowly been getting some mental problems returning (which i will make another post for it) but the daydreaming has kind of returned but in a new way. I hate saying this but its almost like a delusion. Like I'm slowly not noticing the difference between reality and daydreams. I've been noticing its worse or more apparent after I eat something that will provoke Candida so I thought it was Candida. But now other symptoms are creeping up, again only when i eat bad, so idk if its possibly Candida, Lyme, or toxins that is causing this daydreaming problem.
