Generally speaking, the lower your resting heart rate, the better. It generally means your heart is stronger, and thus has to do less to accomplish the same amount of work.
For instance, a lot of guys who bike the Tour De France have resting heart rates in the 30's!
Now if your having other issues with your heart, than it might be related and should be checked out.
But I envy you. I used to be sub 60, and since Lyme, I'm 75 or so.
