Hi Ricky1
My son did them (a few years ago when we didn't know yet that he had lyme). The MD had suggested a minimum of 2 a week for 6 weeks. My son followed that and was the best he'd been in years in terms of energy and clarity of mind (although far from perfect...but able to attend a course independently which was a big deal). We will likely re-introduce them in a few months for 6 - 10 weeks. [We got sidetracked by significant "messiness" caused by some not-so-good medical advice immediately after the Myers]
So, we think they're great and, in our experience, the greatest benefit is in a pre-plan of what is trying to be achieved and what the recommended treatment plan is to achieve that (for him, x consistent treatments over a number of weeks).
In answer to the question of what's in Myer's... I can't find my notes on what was in my son's Myers, but page 391 of the linked article gives some standard ingredients. Additionally, I did find the script and billings on my son's orders which show that Glutathione 200 mg/ ml - 10 ml was added to each of his Myer's Cocktail IVs.

Also, I'd 2nd Krimpet's comment on the importance of a slow push. For my son, if it was pushed to fast, it made him a bit unsteady for an hour or so (as his body seemed to be dealing with a "rush").
