carla - Do you have a Practitioner overseeing your treatment?

Do you mind sharing what you are currently doing - are you treating or working on detoxing first?

Carla ...transfer factors can be immune stimmulating ..arabagalatin can be immuno modulating ..some have luck with low dose naltrexone, iv curcumin was teally good for my vasculitis. ..japonese knotweed or green tea can have some effects ...plaquinil may have effect on babs but can be immunosuppressive. ..everthing is a catch 22...according to lyme summit auto immune is stage three and we are all almost there ..remove infection andaybe immune system calms cytokine storm..Buhner is kinda right there ...read his book...bvt is a good way to distract immune sx..bees r cheep and help flowers grow ...all you neednis a epi pen and tweezers ..it even works for ms which may be cpn infection

You do understand that an immune modulator is one that either boosts or lessens the immune function, right?

It works in conjunction with your immune system to make it run efficiently.

If she wants you to take an immune booster why are you not in align with that? What med is it she wants you to take? And did you ask her why she wants you to take it? Maybe it is an immune modulator and she just called it a booster?

I don't understand why you go to someone and pay for medical advice and then you would go back to them if you do not agree with their treatment. I would either move on to another doctor or do my own research and decide on my own treatment. But, I am a stubborn old coot! And if you tell me to take something I am not in agreement with, you definitely will get a discussion. I will afford them the opportunity to state their case and boy will I listen. They did go to school 4 more years than me.

Samento-MICROBIAL DEFENSE is a powerful medicinal plant,

I didn't know a lot of this until talking to travelor....like green tea can boost your immune system..so can fulvic acid and humic acid..I didn't know that...If I already have autoimmune it will attack me even worse and I am sure I have one..I have had this for 15 years and in the last two have gotten reynauds..levida reticularis psorisor and 8 brain lesions..but not specific for MS and something is attacking my nervous system hot and heavy and I don't want it to get any worse.

Petza I don't know what to do..I don't know how to treat my self and I have no one else to go to....I am scared....had I relized this for or 5 years ago before all of this hot nerve pain..I may could have read my body more..now it is nearly impossible..I am sure I have autoimmune..I keep trying to deny it..but ..well not a lot of explanations why I have some of te things going on that I do

carla -

1) Are you detoxing enough? Even before treatment starts..there are toxins being released from the die-off of bacteria - just from the life cycle.

So, make sure you are doing enough...add a new detox in every few days only...

2) Clean up your diet if necessary.


3) Start with one of Buhner's herbs...Ask questions on this forum - which one would be the best considering your circumstances. Maybe Japanese knotweed at a very low dose to start is where you should start.

Carla, you need to go to a doctor and be tested for autoimmune diseases. You need to get this settled so you can treat it or move on to whatever you have.

Constantly guessing is not good. It is very stressful and I hate to see you stressing over this.

Because you think you have autoimmune you are afraid to treat your confirmed lyme disease and I worry about you not treating the lyme. It will not get better without treatment.

It is time to quit reading on the internet and go get some tests run. Not by a doctor with a machine, but a doctor that will lab test and treat. Because yours is neurological in nature and you think it is MS, I highly suggest a neurologist for the testing.

I worry about you getting sicker and sicker each day without treatment.

Carla it really seems as though you are fearful of what the tests may reveal. This is a human and logical REACTION, but at some point your fear should turn into ACTION. Most of us have been there, done that, and sometimes wrestle with it again and again during our lives.

I agree 2000% with PeteZa. You have to go to a doctor who will run the correct tests. What's the worse that will happen? You will either confirm your belief, begin treatment and move on OR it will disconfirm what you believe and you will be much less stressed. Then, you can really focus on treating your confirmed Lyme disease.

Remember there are millions of people living with autoimmune diseases everyday and some even reversing them. But they had to start with knowing.

Ms is caused by cpn or even borellia ...which has same protocal..look at cpnhelp.org ....do not get on ms drugs ..they will suppress your immune system ...distract it ..tone it but do not suppress. .please ..peteza said to use docs for diagnostic but you know something is wrong and have mri to prove it ...take action ...if you have to self treat do it smart ...what is your budget what is your functioning capacity ..you can do this ..your body is in fight or flight and there is no where to run so stand and fight .
