Coldness and cold sensitivity is one of the most common signs of hypothyroidism.
The under activity could be caused by the Lyme infection, or it could be seperate in itself.
I have had my thyroid tests come back off-normal, a few times, but usually they show normal. I've had cold sensitivity that comes and goes. Sometimes I need two blankets and a jacket other times I'm taking off as much as I possibly can...lol
Babesia and Lyme I believe are the main culprits with this symptom
You are correct that it can be thyroid as well, but let me tell you my story. I was hyperthyroid--became hypo due to RAI. When I say became hypo there was nothing there. I went extreme. Little by little, I took teensy-weensy dosages of T4. Never felt cold, never felt tired. 2 years later, bam!!! High titers of EBV, co-infections, etc. oh my goodness, that's when things went south, north, east, and west. What happened my immune system was shot. In fact, no one picked up on it going by the wayside when I was hyperthyroid. In fact, they now say, it was never my thyroid at all. It was these infections and if I would have had cleared them...well I would quite possibly have my thyroid today.
