Bidens is part of Buhner's protocol against Chlamydia pn. Unfortunately the tincture must be made from fresh leafs to be effective. Very hard to get. Does someone know a source? All tinctures I've seen are made from dried leafs.

Thanks. MF and Woodland both do not send to Germany - I hate it. The tincture from Sage looks like a dried leaf tincture (1:5), but I should ask.

Also what I have done is change the english to chinese and see if I can find the herb that way. bindens is gui zhen cao in chinese.

I used the montana pharmacy and was really well pleased with the product. So sorry about your issues of trying to get herbs through to Germany!

Thanks for the list, Pete. I already knew it. The only company selling tinctures to Germany as far as I know is Sage. Absolutely no problem. Getting dried herbs is not so the problem, so I began to tincture on my own. But some special tinctures have to be made with fresh leafs, and those I need to buy anywhere (for example Bidens, Houttouynia).

What I don't understand is the following: Many manufacturers told me that tinctures would be "flammable" goods and therefore cannot be shipped via plane or because of "customs issues". But Sage can. Is this because of different local laws in different states?

Delivery from USA to Germany is by plane and is regulated by the USA's federal aviation agency and I do not know all the rules. I know I cannot send handcuffs to any place outside the USA. I can't send playing cards to the Philippines (well it was a law in 2007). We have many strange laws on our books that have been there forever and once it is a law, it generally stays there for a very long time.

Oh and it is against the law for me to ship postage stamps, shark fins, military badges, deceased person's remains, and lots of other items. Many countries will not allow dresses made with certain material into their country. Each country (receiver) has it's rules and so does the shipping country (shipper).

If you really want this herb I would take what you can get. Sage has organic and that is good.
