Buhner calls it a protocol in his books but he does add that it is not set in stone and that each person must individually modify it to their needs.
We have said this numerous times on this forum, and are probably remiss in not saying it each time we rally behind his protocol.
Yeah sorry I'm new to this forum so I don't know when I'm preaching to the choir or being genuinely helpful :P One thing I noted on other forums was that a lot of people took Buhners protocol to be "knotweed, cats claw, andrographis" and then complained it didn't work. To me, saying "buhners protocol doesn't work" is like saying "i've methodically tested every plant on this earth and they don't work" since his protocol is more of an approach to using herbal medicines in lyme than a set regimen.
