I'm not sure if mine is softer or if the person that never hears me is getting deaf. But my voice timber has lowered considerably. I was referred to a throat specialist to make sure I didn't have nodules or something.
I went through a period of a few years where I couldn't carry on a conversation for more than a few minutes and I would lose my voice or just run out of oxygen, but I would stop in mid sentence and couldn't finish. It got so I avoided phone calls all the time.
I can't remember now if that was something I went through after my short term with Fosamax that I was taking for my osteoporosis or it was happening before and after. The Fosamax did completely take all sound away from me one day, and it also ruined my mandible joints, and jaws.
Another thing I haven't thought of for awhile, and now wonder about
the Lyme D. connection. I personally don't think so in my case.
I didn't actually answer the question. Yes, I do have trouble talking loudly. It's the level I use, or if someone can't hear me all I can do is shout. There is no in between for me, it's just not possible.
