oh wow - interesting insight julymorning! The only problem is, gatorade is loaded with sugar.
I drink Vitamin Zero water, that is what I would recommend, however I do not think it has nearly as many electrolytes as gatorade?
That sound like my Dr. when I told him. lol He asked me "Why are you drinking sugar"? I told him it's the only thing that works. 'Working' at the time meant keeping me from passing out in public places or having to go to the e.r. because my blood pressure was falling through the floor, feeling very, very weird and faint.
Water wasn't doing anything but bloating me out, and not quenching my thirst.
I just looked at my 32 ounce bottle, which will last me if I am paying attention to what I'm drinking, at least 2 days.I sip it and when it looses it's chill it goes back to the frig., or freezer because I like to take it with me in the car and don't want it getting hot too quickly.
I'm drinking a mixture of it now with my lemon water, because it's so freaking hot and humid here I'm sweating out of every pore. Was shaking pretty bad earlier and weak and had a bout of diarrhea.
As I said, I also drink my lemon water, but the Gatorade is for the electrolytes.
There is 2.5 servings per 32 ounce bottle. Each serving has 80 cal., or 21 grams of sugar or total carb.
If you have to watch your sugar, that's probably too much. It's less than the average soda. I count it has more beneficial for my needs than bad.
If Vitamin zero water works, that's all that counts.
