Could you guys take a look at this cyst thing for me? Thoughts/opinions?

However, my first thought was a lymph node gone awry. You do have nodes right in front of your ear and mine were swollen and soft and hard and red and tender and not all throughout my teens and 20s. And I had recurrent mono several dozen times. EBV LUVVVd me.

Try to put a cabbage leaf on it. It is a natural remedy and it may help you.
Press the leaf so that it is tender and juicy, put it on the cyst and cover it by plaster.
Leave it during the night.

I, too, thought lymph node and also agree that a dermatologist would be the specialist to see if it is indeed a cyst.

Thank you, everyone, but, though I hate to play favorites, you especially, Little Bear. Those are very good suggestions.

The thought of me going out and doing missionary work did have me chuckling a bit. Though, to be honest, I probably would find that an appealing experience.

But, I'd be roughing it, and couldn't access my meds. The organization would probably have me busting my buns doing crap for them too. Plus, my luck, I'd be sent off to like Nigeria or something, not some beach village in southeast Asia or something. lol

I'm gonna see the ENT still though. I doubt he will agree to remove it again just yet, unless it flares up and starts amassing fluid before Friday. Though, if it DOES start doing all that again, I have some confidence that he will. In which case, I'll definitely see if he'll agree to biopsy some of the fluid.

He DID have a biopsy of the cyst he removed before, but I think they were only checking for like cancer..

Anyway, yeah, it'd probably work better if I did see a doctor without prior knowledge, so I could attempt to sell that parasites story, but I am not sure I could pull it off. I'm not such a good actor. I get flustered. It'd be worth the try though. I definitely want some of those pharms for parasites. If I am being affected by a parasitic problem, the herbs and oils I've used so far don't seem to have done a whole lot.

Speaking of the natural methods of treating it, I've tried just about everything under the sun, both what's touted for parasites as well as TBI. I used to rub a number of essential oils, drops of tinctures, everything I had on it, and nothing worked. I'd even dip it in peroxide and epsom salt for like 20 minutes every few days. Everything, out of desperation. I never tried the cabbage leaf, but.. you know, I guess.

Recently, I've been applying a drop of DDR Prime, which is a blend of oils, on it nightly, and I can tell it is doing something, but I don't think it is enough. I could tell the oils and tinctures I'd apply before were doing something as well, but it was never enough to make the darn thing stop coming.

That's why I say.. I don't think I can handle this aspect of my illness with herbs/oils alone. Though, to be honest, I don't think I can handle any of my conditions with herbs/oils alone - I'm just chasing a tolerable level of health while I wait for the healthcare system's approach to Lyme/co to change, but this parasites stuff is one side of my situation that I don't think I can make any dent in without px meds. I've tried.

I'll give the propolis and DMSO a shot, when I go to buy more meds. The honey, I guess, but I'd have to get the good stuff, and that costs a fortune, right? I'm not saying it wouldn't be worth it, if it'd maybe keep this cyst from coming back in full, but my budget is stretched thin. We'll see.

I've tried the oregano and thieves - love EO, but they didn't do anything for the cyst, like I mentioned.

If the one thing has sulfa in it, I'm allergic, so bye-bye to that.

Pirouette - the ENT said it was not a lymph node, when I questioned him about the possibility. He said there are nodes in that area (I knew that already, after suspecting swollen, clogged lymph to begin with), but that wasn't what it was. I am not an expert, so I cannot confirm that what he told me was true, but I'd like to think he knows a thing or two. I could be wrong though.

Anyway.. sorry, if I didn't respond to some of you DIRECTLY. I did read your posts. I have some exercising to do before work in a few hours. Need that muscle. I'd like a nap also. Zzz..

Yeah, I have prepared something to say. Talking in person at length, intelligently, is very hard for me. Plus, I feel awkward bringing a sheet of paper to read off of, and my iPad for pictures, but oh well. I will give it my best shot.

I doubt he'll schedule much of anything today. A new lump has kind of come back, like I mentioned, and there's a good chance it'll start doing what it used to, but it isn't right now, so yeah.

If/when it does come back, I'll stalk the guy's office and show him what I'm living with until he agrees to biopsy/remove it again.

Today, I kind of just want to show him that it is still doing stuff, and see if he'd be open to working on it again, showing him what it looked like before he took it out in an attempt to appeal to his empathy or whatever. Like, don't let me live with this growth on my face, man. Thanks!

Interested in that formula. Though, shame, it probably has alcohol. It sucks that tinctures have to be made with alcohol (well, sucks that they're BEST when made with alcohol - I don't trust the ACV or glycerin extracts enough to spend the money).

Though, there's a new moon today, and I can't say I have experienced much trouble from it, some very minor itching, crawling sensations, which is great. It was a little sore, inflamed a couple nights ago, but that left the following morning.

It used to flare up consistently, every new moon, so the fact that it hasn't done anything this time around could be saying something.

But, I don't wanna get too far ahead of myself, as SOMETHING is still going on in there, otherwise it wouldn't have split open like it did.

Honestly, I am kind of wondering if my using LDN did something to my immune system that then triggered it to interact with whatever is still going on in that cyst area? I am pretty sure I did a "test" dose of max dose (4.5 mg), just to see if it would make me feel some type of way, a day or two before. It may have been the night before. I forget.

Anyway, as for the doctor, he's willing to take it out again, but he wants to see it when it is swollen and inflamed, so he knows exactly what needs to come out. He is not sure if the two lumps in my earlobe are connected, or if it is an entirely new cyst starting to form in the scar of where he took the old one out. I am pretty sure it is a new one, but that the ones in the lobe are somehow connected - they may not be directly helping the one under the ear reform, but they are keeping infection in the area or something. I asked if he'd take those too, and he said maybe. He explained to me that if you make too many incisions more tracts could form later on, which are basically what the fluid was draining through, meaning I could get more.

Though, really, the guy is looking at it from a normal standpoint, you know? He's not thinking, this guy has Lyme disease and all these other possible things going on, and this is connected. He told me that they're due to a build up of skin cells that can't escape, causing infection (which brings about the fluid). He said they are epidermal inclusion cysts.

Anyway.. hopefully, the crap goes away, or at least stays quiet, until I get healed up, then it goes away for that reason.

But, if it does come back, at least he'll take it out again, and I'll try to draw the possibility of it being parasitic if/when that day comes. I figured it was pointless to try today, if he isn't taking it out = no cyst, no fluid to biopsy.

Yeah, questions of the day, my friend. I wish I knew, or had a feasible way to find out. Someday, maybe.
