I make a Green Smoothie almost daily. I make it with a banana and almond milk. Lately I have heard cautions about
this. (the green protein drink not the banana and milk).
Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks!

Is green smoothie a brand? What are you worried about
exactly?

I have read twice now about
overdoing the oxilate intake and overworking the kidneys.
I am using a brand called vim. It is a super food powder with 20 grams of plant protein. I use it and Great Lakes collagen to make a smoothie.
I just thought it was a great way to get some plant protein as I am not a big greens person. Now I am wondering if I should maybe just do a few times a week instead of every day.
Sorry I wasn't clearer on the question...

Ah... sorry I really don't know. Regardless, I'd always suggest eating actual vegetables but I know that doesn't answer your question. Sorry!

I don't use spinach at all, because it has the higest llevel of oxilates.
Also, I often steam green vegetables, as it reduces oxilates level.
