I get anxiety attacks and heard a simple trick to help stop them. Count out loud if you can, in your head if you can't, up to 4 and then count backward back to 1. 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1. For some reason your brain can't have an anxiety attack and count at the same time. I use it a lot and it really works for me, which surprises me, but it does and thank goodness. Hope that might help someone!
