cifiximine magic drug for lyme

hi everyone i am from india. i started ivertmectin and cifiximine together.ivertmectin give instant relief in chest pressure and tremendous gas formation.and cifiximine helping lot in neuro lyme like brain fog and dizziness.i am 8 day of cifiximine 200 despersable tablet and walking in morning with fresh mood.any one had tried this how long to clear lyme +babesia with this combination?

I have not tried the ivermectin - I am currently taking Artemisinin for babesia.

I also haven't taken cefiximine - but I have taken cefuroxmine which is in the same class of antibiotics - the Cephalosporins.

I believe cefiximine is a newer generation of the Cephalosporins.

I know that many cephalosporins can cross the blood/brain barrier (although not sure of which ones...or if all can) which would be good for neuro lyme.

The antibiotic that helped me with some 'head' stuff was minocycline.

Lyme and babesia will take more than a few weeks of treatment.
How long have you had symptoms?

Because you are new here, it would be helpful for you to read through the "New to Lyme?..Start here!" thread - at the top of the page.
If you stick around here - read, post, ask questions - you will learn a lot.
Lyme and co-infections are not an 'easy fix' - it can take many months to years to get into remission.

Also - something very important - is detoxing - this is necessary to flush out the toxins that are created when the bacteria dies-off.

Those drugs won't clear a Babesia infection, but I'm really glad they are helping you to feel better!!

Are any more antibiotics/Antiprotozoal ("anti-protozoans") planned for later?

Welcome ..traditionally ivermectin is a anti worm but flukes are known to infest lungs ..also it may have effect on lyme ...can you order the cifiximine?

I have read that Ivermectin will have some effect on Babesia.
Probably not enough on it's own to irradicate it.

I looked for cefiximine/Suprax online, didn't find it at Inhousepharmacy.vu

here's a study on it, bit dated, it should work. They used a 100 day treatment.
