I am looking for an LLMD that takes insurance in the Hudson Valley NYC area . I have had Lyme 8 times, all with a bulls eye rash but minimal antibody levels. Most were cured with a course of doxycycline except for my last case of lyme a little over a year ago. My disease seems to be ongoing. It is now a little over a year later and I have two IGg positives, 30 and 41 and high RA. My joints are painful especially my left knee (where it started). Additionally I have tremors and one viral sickness after another. and other immune and musculoskeletal symptoms.
My PCP does not think I have Lyme and would like me to see a rheumatologist and I am hoping I can find one that is an LLMD. I will travel!

Hello, I just want to say welcome to the forum. I am glad that you have joined us. With having had the bullseye rash you definitely have lyme.

I hope you find the LLMD. Generally GP's, rheumatologist etc. are not Lyme knowledgable as they are not taught a lot about it in med school. It is a complicated disease and takes a Lyme specialist to help with the symptoms.
