Can nerve pain and tingling also be a symptom of babesia?

I know nerve pain and tingling is typically a symptom of Bart but can it also be a symptom of babesia?

I have been taking HH-2 for a few months now with little progress and barely any herxing. My last visit my llnd was leaning more towards babesia now. I did herx with crypto and had to introduce slowly but am tolerating well and making progress. My worse symptoms for the past 5 years are pain muscle/tendon pain in hips and nerve pain, burning, and tingling in legs and feet and sometimes in upper extremities. Sometimes it feels like my muscles are choking off my legs. I recently tried adding sida and then 2 wks later Artemisinin. 3 days into Art everything went haywire. Nerve pain and tingling thru the roof, increased hip pain, stomach pain and fatigue. I stopped the sida and Art to try and calm things down almost 10 days ago and things arent calming down. So i am wondering if my nerve symptoms could be more babesia since the Art seems to be what really put me over the edge? How long can an Art herx last? I detox like crazy but i do havve the mthfr mutation making detoxing difficult. Feeling frustrated!😞

I have the same thing and like you sida/crypto affect it dramatically. My guess was mycoplasma or Bart but who really knows. Maybe even ehrlichia based on my diagnosis. Remember these are all broad spectrum antimicrobials. Just because they are used for babesia doesn't mean that's all they get. It might be babesia, but I don't have any of the typical babesia symptoms like sweats and air hunger and neuropathy isn't commonly associated with babesia.

Nerve and muscle pain to that degree is usually associated with Neuro Lyme and Bart combined, which is most likely the cause. But since those are the same symptoms you experience when your body doesn't like something, that can't be ruled out completely. It's not at all common for Babesia to cause that much nerve/muscle pain, but no one can say it can't ever happen.
