Mine is 45.
Adults: <15: diagnostic of Iron Deficiency
15-50: Probable Iron Deficiency
51-100: Possible Iron Deficiency
>100: Iron Deficiency unlikely
persistently >1000: Test for Iron overload
so, I am in the 'probable iron deficiency' category.
My GP didn't think it was causing any of my symptoms...though. She likes to see Ferritin at 100.
I haven't retested since taking an iron supplement.
