Nasel drip / sinus causing slight "sleep apnea symptoms", I cant be the only one

Not a lyme thing, (can be a candida thing though) but I'm trying to improve my sleep, and people here know a little of everything- as opposed to other forums.

True "sleep apnea" is a mechanical obstruction from within your air way, you were born that way.

- I dont have that. But I do have sinus drainage that causes similar symptoms when sleeping on my back. Was hoping candida treatment would help. So I do have less mucous (sorry!) in the air way, but back to my normal slightly allergy/sinus self.

I like sleeping on my back, so this is annoying and will wake me till I CLEAR my throat,,them I'm good for a while. Some nights are worse and I just give up and roll over to the side- not preferred though if my hips/back dont feel good.

Odd question, anyone with this have suggestions.?

Right now, I'm dealing with a very stubborn sinus infection though, so I feel your 'pain'! The only thing that I have found helpful when this gets bad is Mucinex, because it has Guaifenesin. This is something I got started using years ago, when I was only diagnosed with Fibro/M.E.
