I bet it was me that suggested the Pacific brand of Turkey bone broth. I found it to be the most gentle and the best tasting. I love it plain and love it when I add stuff in it.
Vitacost has a 32 ounce for less than $6 --FYI
Whole Foods has organic chicken strips that are cooked and frozen. I take some of those and microwave them and dice them up and then you have chicken/turkey soup. Easy and so gentle on a tummy.
Then when I got stronger in the tummy area I added in Whole Foods organic frozen peas, some organic shredded carrots and some frozen organic green beans. Then a can of rinsed organic Northern beans. You have a nice stew/soup you can eat off for a couple of days.
This is the best way to cook when you are sick.
