I have done colon therapy a few times. It was very trendy about a decade ago. I have read that it can be a way of removing heaps of impacted faeces. For some people it does happen. I think they may have a much healthier gut than me.
Nothing very spectacular happened. I was left in a room to do it myself. When I did do a massage on my belly the second time some small amounts very old stuff did come out. It never happened again after that. For all the time, the travel and the money it took it wasnt worth it. I am not saying it isnt a good idea for others it probably depends on the individual
I have gotten better results from home enemas. I can get small amounts of impacted faeces out with a coffee enema and a self massage. There are people on the internet describing what they do. It only works up to a point for me. Heaps of mucoid plaque came out when I did a few liver flushes. That was completely unexpected. I had heaps of cramping for hours on end. It made a lot of difference getting it out all the tension in my shoulders went and I felt better. The plaque is like a thick rubbery tube lining the gut.
I think if you have concerns and you go to a professional therapist who will do the massage you may be able to gauge whether it can help you. I would do a few home enemas start with to see if anything is shifting and if you are getting results go to a professional colonic therapist and see if they can do more. Also look at other ways to get out the mucoid plaque. All of this helps you understand what your body needs.
