June 27, 2016 I ended my herbs and I swam all summer - about
every day average for about
30-45 minutes, well missed a few days . Not super hard at all. Just slowly getting my muscles to work. Swimming gets those tendons and ligaments ready for use. It is a very gentle way to start.
Last week I bought a step in cruiser bike (27 gears). I have a knarly mountain bike, but that it just too hard core for me still. Now I ride every morning and swim mid morning. Another gentle step in my physical activity. I am a tad sore, but I don't get to the point where I can't ride the next day. I think getting that sore is hurtful and you lose time healing instead of working.
Oh and I have swung the bat a few times. Hitting rocks out into the lake... I am such a dork, but it was fun.
Muscles do come back. I don't think I will do weights until it is too cold to swim and ride. Then I will hit the weights and my stationary bike.
