Dogsblood there is no typical case. While many will share similar symptoms there are no 2 people alike when it comes to Lyme, con-infections, bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc., and how our bodies physically manifest and deal with these things.
It sounds like you have things pretty much under control and are mangling your symptoms. Your list of supplements look good.
Perhaps I missed it but what are you doing for detoxing?

You may need to implement some additional detox methods such as dry brushing, Epsom salt footbaths or Epsom salt baths. Often we do not do enough to detox. Here are some additional detox methods:

Welcome! You sound like you are in a really good place. If something makes you uncomfortable about
the LLMD, trust that, but know that it sounds like you are doing a lot of the right things! Congrats on that big time. I'd highly recommend reading the link in this forum that is the top link. It is chalk full of great info. Also, I can't recommend enough reading Stephen Buhner's book on treating Lyme and co-infections in that herbs seem to make their way into people's protocols often. Good job on the dietary changes. I find it interesting that you didn't herx perhaps your dosing is just right. Once again, welcome!

Appreciate the replies. I am definitely interested in detoxing more. Just bought the Buhner book but haven't had time to read too much. Researching this stuff is like a second job!
My issue with my LLMD is that she doesn't want to discuss any additional treatments outside of what she picks for me. I'm sure people read tons of things on the internet and try to "out-info" her on things, so I am very careful not to do that. But whenever I mention a supplement she just ignores me. I totally understand why, as she is the doctor and I am the patient. I really want to take the Buhner herbs, but I don't want to go against my Dr. or mess with our relationship. Maybe if things don't work out or if I don't get any results after a long while I'll start them.

Well if you are getting results with what she is recommending and you can live with not having a say in your treatment and your suggestions being disregarded, then stay the course. However, like you said if things begin to go awry then you may have to take another course of action.
But in my opinion, I don't buy into the doctor-patient relationship. While I respect their position, it should be reciprocal. I look for doctors where there is a partnership, after all this is my body and my health we are talking about
. If I'm going to be disregarded each step of the way for having an opinion in my care, then see you later doc.

I agree, but I'm not a doctor--just some guy with a computer. I don't want to overburden my liver or any other organ, especially when the treatment is getting results. But yes I will keep this in mind for the future. Thanks for the advice.

What you can do to talk privately about
your doctor with someone else that also sees the same doctor is enable an email address, then start a new post with a title something like "Anyone else seeing this LLMD in ________" and enter your state.
Then in the post, mention the doctor's last initial. Anyone that is possibly seeing the same doctor can email you and you can discuss it off forum.
If you don't wish to use your personal email for this, you can sign up for a free email account with services like gmail or yahoo, or a couple of others that are out there.
