Is there anyone else out there where a combination of dizziness/lightheadedness/tipsy/spacy is your main symptom? I've been dealing with this almost non stop for the past 90 days. IV Rocephin gave me some quality of life, but I've regressed since stopping. Now I'm on Mino and will be adding Ceftin on Tuesday but it's too early too tell if it has any effect. It's only been a couple days.
Anyways just looking to see if there is anyone else out there dealing with this constant feeling in their head? How did you heal? What did you take that helps the dizziness?
Yup, for around two years I suffered from dizziness and spaciness. I couldn’t think right. I couldn’t concentrate or focus. I felt inebriated. I felt as though there was a smog barrier between me and the world I saw. I had no control over myself and started to isolate myself because I lost a lot of confidence and motivation. I was the complete opposite of who I once was.
Since starting treatment I've had my ups and downs. I'm on IV rocephin and it eradicated my mental lapses for a little over two weeks but slowly it came back in and now I'm stuck feeling disconnected and spacey again. Almost like a bad drug trip. It's very isolating and frustrating and no one seems to understand because of the Lyme stigma. "It can't be that bad because I know others who had acute Lyme and they're fine."
I really don't know when I will feel myself. I'm hopeful I'll regain my cognitive abilities but nothing seems like its working.
