Appt. with LLND coming up - med suggestions?

Hello!

My son has his monthly telephone appt. with his LLND and I was hoping for suggestions/thoughts on medications.

He's been on:
100 mg doxy in am 200 mg doxy pm /day
500 mg azithromycin 2/week
25 drops of beyond balance bab 2 twice/day

His current symptoms are:
Brain fog, anxiety/ocd, insomnia, fatigue, new stretch marks on his upper back
He had a killer migraine two days ago, with mild headaches since

He's only been on abx for two months and has improved a lot!
Previous symptoms included constant migraines, severe brain fog, nerve pain/tingling, spasms, extreme insomnia, constant stomach pain, severe anxiety/ocd, then severe joint pain, unable to walk, dizziness, low blood pressure.

Do you guys think he should just stick with the current protocol or should he try something new? Maybe for bartonella (biaxin/rifampin?)

I have Buhners book and am totally on board with his protocol, will prob start when he reaches a plateau. I don't want to add too much at once.

So maybe start working on the cysts/round form of the lyme that the doxy has made?

Did you try Rifampin? How was it for you?

He has cpn and mycoplasma and lyme for sure. Just guessing about the bartonella - he volunteered with a feral cat clinic a while back and his anxiety/ocd and stretch marks make me think so.

bvt is bee venom therapy.

I pulse Rifampin with mino M/W/F and Tinidazole Th/F

I do that for 2 or 3 weeks, then take a week off.

The Artemisinin rounds are 4 days on and 10 or 11 off.
This last round I added Ceftin with the Artemisinin (I have some left over)

So the pulsing of Rifampin, mino and Tinidazole schedule is put on hold when I do Artemisinin for 4 days.


I was previously pulsing Rifampin and Biaxin M/W/F but recently switched to biaxin for mino.

I think mino and biaxin are both good meds for Lyme and paired with others for Bart and Babesia.
