Is it safe for me to take just the omnicef that my LLMD prescribed if that is the only abx I am on?

I want to start Buhner's protocol too but I am financially tapped out right now. I do have in my growing collection of supplements the following:

Resveratrol (it has red wine extract in it)
Kudzu
Cat's Claw tincture
Tegreen (helps with antioxidants)
Milk Thistle

With appropriate detoxing, will this be enough to proceed without antibiotics until I can purchase more items?

pmm you can only do what you can do. If that is all you have, you will have to go with it.

I really followed Buhner's book protocol and basically I did it in the order he presented it.

On page 2 of this link I have printed out Buhner's protocol from his book.

Many, many thanks and hugs to you PeteZa!! I know most of my questions can be answered by doing my own research but I'm so scatterbrained and unable to think clearly lately. At one point in my life, as a Literature major, I thrived on research.....you would never know it now! hahaha

One thing though - the resveratrol from red wine (actually from grape skins) won't work for these infections. You need to be sure that the resveratrol is from Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum japonica).

You are so very welcome. I know how it felt when I got here and I only had half a brain. It was horrible. I would start a sentence and just stop and be blank.... I forgot what I was going to say.

Read? I could not read a paragraph. I think that is why I break up my posts into easy sentences. I remember how difficult it was to read a bunch of lines. I just could not do it.

I have a couple of girlfriends that are authors and I am their editor -- lyme took care of that job for awhile. I was slow and just kept thinking I was missing things and would have to re-read and re-read. Authors like their stuff done quickly once they have finally finished their books. lol

I so understand and you will definitely get back all the research brain. Patience.

As soon as you can, do be sure to replace it with one with nothing but the Japanese knotweed for the resveratrol, but because money is such an issue for you, use what you have to start with.

The amount of Japanese knotweed in the Green Dragon Botanicals capsules (one of Buhner's recommended sources) is 500 mg.
