Woodland Essence vs Sage Woman

How are your guys' experiences with herbs from these two places? Sage woman is cheaper and it looks like their tinctures are stronger, too (1:5 vs 1:7)

I mostly need Sida but also houttuynia. I was considering just getting the bulk houtt powder from 1st chinese herbs since buhner has a dosage for it, and its much, much cheaper.

For Sida does either place work?

There is a thread discussing the difference in strengths and yes I believe Sage Woman is 1:5 and WE is 1:7.

Although at that time the WE was preferred source for Houttuynia because is was fresh leaf where SW wasn't. That may not be the case now though.

Sorry that doesn't answer your question about the bulk herbs.

Yes, I believe so - Buhner recommends both SW and WE.

The Houttuynia was the only herb that I know of that there was a difference.

I have not tried the Sida from Woodland but have been using it from Sage Women and it has worked well for me. In face Sida is one I do not want to do without for nerve pain and toe buzzing!

I have also used the Hout from Sage Women but haven't seen a lot of difference with it other than herxing from it when I overdo it! Lol.

Great! Thank you. Im still wondering if i can go with the powdered houttuynia, just for cost reasons
