Pulsing is usually done to allow the 'bugs' to come out of hiding that can happen with continuous abx protocols and also to give your body a break from the drugs.
Pulsing zithro won't achieve the 'coaxing' of the bugs to come out because of it's long-half life (something like 68 hours)- it builds up in your system...and if you take a few days off, there is still a level of antibiotics in your blood stream.
So, if you're pulsing it because you want to 'coax' the bacteria out of hiding...that probably won't do it...but if you're pulsing it because you simply don't want or need to keep building the amount of the drug in your blood stream....that's different.
I did pulse it when I took it...because my Dr. doesn't want to continuously build the drug in the blood stream for months on end.
