Invasion of the body snatchers. Dead on.

I always tell people that I feel like Edgar the Bug from Men in Black. When he comes out of the hole in his yard and walks into the house all droopy and slurring and grabs the sugar bowl and starts eating the sugar with a spoon. (Maybe he is a giant tick from outer space. He sure looks like one once you get to see him outside of poor Edgar's body.)

And the way his wife looks at him is the way people look at me. I'm on my way to the grocery store and today I am going as Edgar with my cane. I was there on Tuesday, the picture of health. I'm going to get stares today. One time, a lady was staring at me struggling to put tomatoes in a bag. I picked up a tomato and asked her if it was an avocado. She stuttered a bit and then kindly showed me the avocados. I thanked her from the bottom of my heart as she headed in the opposite direction.

My kids cried when they found out that I had Lyme disease and asked me if I was going to die. They were worried and unsettled. Now, when I tell them that I am having a Lyme flare, they reply: "What's Lyme?"

I've had to give up a lot since I have had Lyme, but I am not giving up my sense of humour. Lyme doesn't like humour. Lyme wants us stressed and vulnerable. If they are going to use my body as a residence and feed off me, then they must accept the fact that it is not a free for all. There are rules. Just because they are ignoring the eviction notice doesn't mean that I don't have a few tricks up my sleeve and in my medicine cupboard.

Armageddon time. Right pmm73?

Hahaha, yes, Buzz Lyme Year.....I love Toy Story. Except for the sad broken toys under the bed.)

I am laughing out loud all by myself and my Uber driver is giving me funny looks. It's worse if I try to suppress because weird noise will come out of my nose.

My first few posts started off as TROVA. My niece was over on Monday and she said that I sounded like a condom. A heavy duty one.
