Does insurance cover that ...lol...i wonder how much curza 99 is going to cost ..sorry i am being sarcastic and pessimistic. .but really who can afford bx protocal or stem cell or photons from germany....gall bladder out week 5 ...?

bluelyme - did you mean biophoton therapy from germany?

My cousin did biophoton - two weeks worth...after only a few weeks (month at most) of antibiotics for a lyme (and who knows what else) infection she'd had for several months.

After the two weeks, he said her lyme is gone.

She's still not well...this was 6 months ago...she thought she would continue to get better...she just had a three-day long headache. Her left arm goes numb and she says it feels like a blood pressure cuff is squeezing it.
She is fatigued....she blames it on her busy job - Psych nurse in a hospital psych ward.
I'm trying to gently tell her that she needs more treatment.

Ya thanks girlie for that feedback ...what did that set her back financially? ...how much are stem cells ..? ..would ivig be worth it if i could afford it.

We'll the biophoton was in a nearby city. (she didn't travel to Germany)
and it was inexpensive. She paid $20 for a session and she had them Mon-Friday for two weeks. So 10 sessions - $200 total.

I don't think it helped her...

He also told her that he wanted her on antibiotics for a few weeks prior to her testing, and to stop the abx before testing. He said usually the WB gives 75% positives...but provoking with the antibiotics will give 90% positives.

Idiot.

I don't know about the IVIG - I think Dr. Horowitz and Dr. Jones (peds) do it when people are having trouble with nervous system issues...or did I get that wrong.

I am wondering what the philosophy of stem cell therapy is that the Sweeney family did? Is there a clinic in INDIA that only treats lyme?
The most important question is how is the family doing now? A few months out. Are there others that are doing well after this type of therapy. Does the family have a blog?

Also, didn't Yolanda do some stem cell treatment somewhere? As I recall that did not lead to sustained improvement for her. What did the treatment regime consist of for that and outcome?

As we know all too well, this disease is so ridiculously devastating that we are all looking pretty hard at a way out. (DUH)

WHen I was sick twenty years ago, there was a guy that was overheating blood for people. He was an American that set up a clinic first in Switzerland, then in Italy. The high temperatures in the body (kind of malaria therapy that was used at one point) were supposed to kill off the bacteria. People were claiming cure. However in looking into this, the guy was a total scam artist. He heated the blood with some derivative of a weed killer. (Funny thing, I was so sick at the time, that I might have done it had he not been shut done due to someone dying!) I remember thinking if there is a 50 percent chance of cure or 50 percent chance of death, those would be odds that I would be willing to accept.

It is nuts that we are getting so little help from science. I honestly am thinking that creating a lyme Ouiji board might be the way to go....gah!

Maybe I shouldn't 'jump' to that conclusion...I guess I was just skeptical before she even did it.

I just think that because the biophoton has been around for many years...and this LLND is using it...if it was healing people that quickly...we'd be hearing about it in my lyme community....and we're not.

At first I was trying to be optimistic and think that maybe her symptoms would just get better over time after her treatment stopped...that there was some residual damage from lyme that just needed to heal.
But, it's been 6 months now...and she's not well.
