Mona here.
I am late-stage Lyme, Q-Fever, EBV, CMV, Lung Clamydia
Crohn's and PSC

I did the Antibiotic protocol 5 years ago. I ended up with a peaceful 2+ years after but worse than ever now.

I've actually developed painful cyst acne (exactly 1-year) now. Was the butterfly rash across the nose but it's spread further. Worst symptom because now I don't feel like going out or being seen.
I am in a relationship (1-year) and experiencing a bit of impatience (screaming sometimes). I always apologize but the neglectfulness he feels sometimes makes him NEEDY. I don't have the energy right now. I've started herbs and it's a day-to-day thing.
I'm always putting-up a good fight nonetheless. Joint pain & stiffness.
Most of my Herx has been sleeping 48 hrs. at a time (unusual).

What do you think about these doses?
All homemade [vodka] tinctures.
Any input is appreciated.

9/12 cats claw 1 tsp 3x day
9/18 +skullcap 1/2 tsp 3xday
9/25 +teasel root 1 tsp 3x day
9/27 +red root 1/2 tsp 3x day
10/2 +hawthorne berry/leaf/flower 1/4 tsp 3x day
10/3 +activated charcoal & Damascus earth capsules
3 each bedtime for detox/carry
10/6 +red clover 1 tsp 3x day
10/10 +nettle leaf 1/4 tsp 3x day
10/14 +houttuynia 1/2 tsp 3x day
10/17 +eleuthero (Siberia ginseng) 1/4 tsp am/noon
10/18 +cordyceps 2 tsp PM

I think you should see a doctor. The butterfly rash across the nose is not generally a lyme symptom and it alerts me to something else that I have seen in my family a lot of times.

Rather than me guessing and worrying you, please have a doctor check you out.

Thank you BUT, it doesn't really matter.
The LABELS of my autoimmune diseases don't interest or worry me.

The fact that I'm getting sicker does worry me.
I know the bottom line is Lyme, Q-fever, EBV & CMV

I can't take any meds. I get worse.
Pharmaceuticals [for me] have to be EMERGENCY USE ONLY.

You are so sweet though.

Lyme [in the end] has a skin element.
It is definitely a symptom for Lyme disease
My doctor is an idiot. In all fairness TO THEM, they are not being paid enough to treat complex patients like us. I always knew these herbs would be my
LAST TREATMENT OR MIRACLE.

I would encourage you to read this blog post, as it goes into what testing was done to show Lupus was the culprit, although this gal has Lyme as well and rightly supposes that Lyme was what brought her body to the point of developing Lupus:

I would also encourage you to take a look at Buhner's protocols to help you develop a good protocol for yourself. In his 2nd edition of "Healing Lyme", he breaks down the protocol so that you can choose the herbs that will bring you the most relief from your symptoms, plus which ones will treat Lyme.

This is a scary last step. But in the short time, I feel hope.
I've had 1 good day, one bad. 2 good days one bad. 2 bad, 1 good..Etc.....
I've endured pneumonia this year [full-blown but healed without doctor assistance]. Along with many down illness. So, I'm strong still.

I've done so much research, my head is spinning.
I figured it was time for human input and REAL STORIES.

LOL! Well, we are here to help anytime we can.

Do be sure you are detoxing too - and make sure you have hormones tested and so on too. You don't want to miss something that needs to be corrected in order for you to heal and feel your best.

Also watch for co-infection symptoms, as they can pop up at any time as you treat for Lyme.

The one herb missing in your mix he recommends is japanese knotweed. LOL! For tincture making - right? smilewinkgrin Sorry, I'm a bit delirious today due to too much activity over the weekend.

Awesome selection of herbs! But, do be aware that they can bring on a herx, so start on a low dose and build up slowly as your body tolerates it.

It is not uncommon for someone who has lyme to even have ANA show up via blood test - pointing to an autoimmune disease...but lyme can cause this.

So, even if you have the butterfly rash, and other symptoms of lupus, you're right..lyme can cause it.
