Rifampin and Liver enzyme test name?

what is the test name for the live enzyme(s) test run to check after taking Rifampin?

I get these done monthly:

Bilirubin
Alkaline Phosphatase (AP)
Gamma GT (GGT)
ALT

Some dr.s also have the AST done.

Just want to add that they should really be done when on any antibiotics...not just Rifampin

I get a "Complete Metabolic Panel" for wide range of liver and kidney functions. We pay attention to AST and ALT liver enzyme levels to check stress levels on the liver.

I also get hematology profile done...and kidney function tests.

Although, I noticed when I needed my standing order renewed...my GP forgot to add the kidney function tests.

The two you NEED to have done:

alanine aminotransferase (ALT)
aspartate aminotransferase (AST)

Don't be on Rifampin without having these two tests done monthly. Basic liver function.
