talk to me about intravenous ozone therapy

Hi, RaeZenz, welcome tot he forum. I am replying, but this is mostly serving as a BUMP...

I did a series of UBI w/ ozone from February thru may 2015. In UBI, they pull 60-100cc of blood out, squirt it into an IV bag, add the same amount of ozone into the bag, mixing slowly. Then run the blood thru a UV light machine and back into you... this process put my Lyme into remission. I was completely symptom free for 1 year... then, sigh, I wasn't. I believe it'd different, and I believe it's co-infections.

I believe 100% that my mistake was not supporting my body systems properly during this treatment, stopping treatment right when I felt better rather than doing more to be certain, letting stress back into life as I was training for a new position at my work that is crazy complex, and I way overdid the working out because I was so excited I felt like it.

I sure hope I am smarter this time, LoL... I know I am because I have come out of the background on this forum, and learned so much.

The cost was prohibitive, but I cut out everything fun and frilly to afford it.

the side effects were very minimal. I got very sick after treatment 3, but after treatment 4 is when I began to lose symptoms. The worst part for me was finding good veins... you need good veins. My blood was super "clotty" at the beginning, so sometimes I got stuck 4 times to try and get the whole treatment done.

I'm not sure if this is what your doc does... I know some do IV peroxide, etc. What type of Ozone are you referring to?

They offer the AHT (no mention of UV though) , but I think they are promoting the "10 pass" therapy for those that can tolerate it. Whatever that means.

I definitely do NOT have good veins. I have to drink 2 liters of water to get blood drawn, which helps, but my veins are fine and thin. When I had babies in the hospital they had to move my IV 2 or 3 times because it would dry up.

I think IV Ozone has made a big difference for me. I know it helped get the bacteria out of my heart and my brain.

IMO treatments that use one of the hyperbaric MAH machines are superior to those that are using gravity and an IV bag. I've done both.

Cost varies depending on the Dr. I called around while my LLND was finding someone to administer IV ozone. Prices ranged in my area (San Francisco Bay Area) from $175-$250 for a single pass. Most offices didn't offer a discount for multiple passes (outrageous) Thankfully my LLND is not trying to make bank but heal. He charges $175 for the first pass and $50 for every additional pass. Still costly, but in my case very well worth it.

If you opt to do IV ozone start with a single pass. I didn't start ozone until I'd been treating for almost 2 years and had greatly reduced my bacteria load. Even with that I herxed from the ozone.

Hopefully this article will explain what they mean by a ten pass. I've had ozone done on both machines and found it interesting that the less high tech looking one was the better of the two.

You can google ozone and Rowan or ozone and Shallenberger and pull up a lot of information on IV ozone. Their the guru's in the field.

I did several treatments. I believe it boosted the immune system but would not be cost effective to continue, whereas RI ozone in the home would be.

It sounds like a ten pass would be much more effective clinical treatment.
