Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. It is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints. ...
Vitacost has a house brand of this. I've taken it for an extended period at triple dosage and couldn't determine any benefit to my chronic back pain (as go the majority of supplements I've tried).
I am always hopeful when I hear of something new. I've tried so many different things that I would expect at least a placebo effect to have happened by now.
For amino acid supplementation Ive been using bee pollen which is sold in the supermarket here.
I had bought some Braggs but then I read their Liquid Amino product is made by soaking soy beans in Hydrochloric Acid which is then neutralized with baking soda.
The chemical reaction creates a large sodium content. It tastes like soy sauce but the consensus was that although it qualifies under the definition of amino acids that it is not something that should be consumed.
A few people discussing this product back and forth on another forum perceived very negative reactions that occurred during continuous use and resolved on ceasing their intake of the product.
I must say there are likely better sources of Amino Acids. Its a shame I didn't find out until after I had ordered a bottle and tried some. But at least now I know.
