I've adapted my house to be mostly gluten and sugar free, so the temptations are no longer there. But it's the holidays right now, and I'm on vacation with family in Italy where gluten and sugar surround me. I resist, but sometimes the torture of resisting is so strong I wonder if it's worse than actually tasting a tiny piece? Most of the joy of being in Italy with family during the holidays is enjoying all the homemade goodies together.
What do people think about
small gluten and sugar breaks? A tiny piece of bread? A small tasting of pasta? Half of a
cookie?
Also, what about
alcohol? A few small sips of wine? A whiskey?
Help!!!
