MONTH TWO now.
I've adhered to this at least 95%, with less than 5% technical mistakes from learning what "disguised" ingredients really are...........they mislead on lables....white lies!!!!.
You cant even buy a dill pickle with out 2% offensive sugar of some type. Everyone knows sugar, or cane, but versions of sucrulose (corn sugar), dextrose, turbineo are the hidden terms. Milk and or soy is in way to many things.
Soy messes up hormones as it looks like a hormone to the body.
Organic labeled stuff can still have soy and sugar in it- just less refined versions of sugar, read, read, read.
All that soy packed stuff vegans eat.....is bad for you LOL.........wake up vegans/vegetarians.
So without carbs (grain products) there an not many snacks to choose from, and carbs are what make you feel full.
I will never buy a coffee shop overpriced chemical/sugar/dairy loaded coffee ever in my life. Plain coffee in its natural form is Paleo and whole30 acceptable, even though it is considered slightly toxic in functional medicine.
Regular coffee gives me reflux. It used to make me jittery when my adrenals were messed up, not now. The natural amino acid L-Theanine in enough tea to equal the amount of caffeine in coffee makes me feel a little loopy. So.......I started using Kava brand reduced acid instant coffee, with a minimal chemical almond milk added (some are bad) and some natural cinnamon in it.
And we really need alternative healthy restaurants that dont break the bank too. Restaurant food always put me into sleep mode- its scary what they do to make food addicting. Sit down restaurant food is in some cases, just as bad as fast food- worse if they fill your plate up.
Eventually I cant sustain this diet forever, its costly and time consuming. And cant really eat socially. I trained a family member on what they though was healthy- now they read labels LOL.
My energy bill went up! My stove/oven is gas, I dont like electric stove tops. In the northland gas is more expensive than electricity. I know in south US electricity is more costly than up here- they nail you for AC use. We use furnaces more and they are gas. Energy companies want our money and get it depending on your climate ..ha ha..
***I will getting LIPID PANEL and my previously elevated AUTOIMMUNE ANTIBODIES tested again in a few weeks to see what this diet is doing in that dept. See what all the meat and veggies is doing inside of me***
I lost minimal, only 4lbs, but I appeared fit before anyway. Have been increasing workouts, so maybe I converted some softness to leanness, who knows, jeans are a little to loser now I guess, tighted the belt up more.
I never had any food withdrawals from this- I ate pretty good anyway, but not this strict before. Gluten free is a cake walk compared to whole30/paleo!!
