Oil of Oregano?

What brand and source of oil of oregano do you like? What is it mostly recommended for?

I agree with Astroman. It doesn't have to be a super expensive brand, just one from a company that is trustworthy. I've had to use some really cheap brands before (financial issues) and they have worked, even if they may not have been quite as potent.

Do be sure to start off on a really low dose though, especially if you haven't used it before. It's a broad spectrum abx herb, so it will hit many different infections and can produce quite a herx for some people.

I forgot about that! Thanks for bringing that up, Blueberry!! You're right, the capsules are the only way to go! Never, ever put the tincture under the tongue (as some may say) as it will burn the tender tissues under the tongue. If the tincture is to be used, it needs to be mixed with another oil (such as coconut or olive oil) first, then drank.

I used a Greek Wild oil of oregano which I ordered from Amazon, its really good and extremely powerful. I took it in either olive or coconut oil ad drank lots of water after. I took it daily and it really made a difference, I take it still but not every day.
