I take it, frequently along with lumbrokinase, when I get up at 5. I take my morning herbals half an hour later, and then I have some food when I get to work about 2 hours later. I take the glutathione when I wake up early morning (3-4 am). Taking things in the right condition at the right time is my biggest on-going challenge. I may be counter-acting what I take, but I don't know how else to take multiple things that all require empty stomach and not take them together...
My LLMD has me on several different biofilm busters. When I first started the serrapeptase I found it effective. Not so much any more. But I read some of the early research papers and they were for small amounts, so I only take 1 capsule. There are known side-effects for too high a dose of it.
The most effective combo for me is lactoferrin and xylitol (in lemon water works best for me - it's too sweet for my taste). There are also research studies out there on these - they are most effective together. Note also that xylitol is toxic toxic deadly toxic to dogs. I use the birch derived xylitol to avoid the GMO corn source.
