Hello! I used the search and found lots of threads on this topic but they were all pretty old so I thought I start a new one to hopefully get some more answers!
I am interested in the Sponaugle Wellness Institute but at the same time I'm very skeptical. I have Lyme, Bart and Black Mold Toxicity which is why this clinic stood out to me. I have a reservation for late next month but I'm still wanting to learn more to see if this place is worth the very expensive cost.
Has anyone been to the clinic personally or perhaps know someone who has gone? Or have any information about these kind of places?
I have a few specific questions:
Firstly, what does life look like after the clinic? Are there very specific lifestyle rules that you have to follow in order to not relapse? is it easy to maintain the progress that you made at the clinic? I know a lot of people make progress while at the clinic but I wouldn't want to invest in something like this unless I could stay at that healthier point after leaving.
Second, did you trust everything they were putting in your body?
Third, I have never seen so many legal papers, contracts, terms, agreements before! That freaks me out a little, makes me think they've been sued quite a bit. This really raised my suspicions about the integrity of the place.
Fourth, I see a lot of people say the clinic got them 80-95% better which I think is awesome, but it doesn't seem like their lifestyle reflects that progress. Everything that I have read the patients are still struggling and pursuing other treatments. I understand the goal is 100% health but if I was 80-95% better I'd be out living life, not focusing so much on the remaining 10%. I just don't understand this... does that mean they aren't really better or that they went home and got really sick again? Its concerning to me.
If anyone can offer any insight that would be very helpful! I want this to work out but at a price like that I have to take a good long look at it.
