Nutrients For Lyme

Still trying to find my way back to optimum health....and I realized how close nutrients have made me get...especially when I used them.

Not adjusting slowly was my issue ...but I'd like to cover some potentially useful nutrients you may want to try.

b3 - my top low and slow nutrient...this is great for blood flow....it's an amazing b vitamin. suppose to be antimicrobial too.

Vitamin D - this seems to produce a reaction for me; vitamin d activated 100's of immune system cells.

Magnesium - magnesium makes your body function better, and should also help blood flow, and 300 chemical reactions. antistress - if you are stressed you are probably deficient!

zinc - zinc is an immune booster.

vitamin c - immune booster

selenium - antiviral

vitamin e - good for heart

multivitamin - its good to have a multi vitamin to help the others work

b complex - b's are helpful into conversion of food into energy, the nervous system and will help your brain funtion properly/keep stress down.

also calcium may be of use as well...it is a calming supplement like b's and magnesium.

keep in mind there is also a b6 and zinc deficiency caused by pyroluria (a possibly genetic or aquired condition) and is characterized by social anxiety...therees is a questionaire online to see if you have this condition it is characterized by multiple odd symptoms including inner tension.

mthfr gene mutation might be soemthing to consider as well.

yea these nutrients are important to heal hope this will act as a reminder.

I was actually researching lyme and unusual anxiety issues, and ended up on this.

A few not mentioned above are:

iodine: adequate iodine is required for proper thyroid function. I do not like low dose iodine and prefer 150-225mg per day.

lithium: lithium is believed to help protect the mitochondria in cells from oxidative stress. In my own experience, lithium has shown that it will give me 1 hour more of sleep each night. Anyone who often gets constipated or has a dry mouth may benefit from lithium. I've only taken 10mg at bedtime and that is quite a difference from the 450mg three times a day that is prescription.

molybdenum: increases with mercury elimination and with the assimilation of sulfur containing foods.

i take 50 mg zinc gluconate and 300 mg of b6..i 've been having remembered i had dreamed regularly for the first time...

no dream recall is caused by lack of b6 (one of two main nutrients needed for pyroluria)
