Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I last posted. I hope you all are finding some relief and beating Lyme. It has now been eleven years since my infection and I have been mostly dealing with some stubborn symptoms and only treating periodically due to working a full time job and running a business. I would like to put my full time and resources into fighting this illness but I am afraid of becoming more ill during treatment from hexing and have always seemed to start and stop treatment to avoid this. I believe my worst symptom currently has to do with the Lyme attacking my nerves...I get the crawling feeling throughout my body and my GI tract. I would like to find a herbal tincture that would help target this symptom. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

Any idea which infection you're dealing with? Lyme..bartonella?
I would suggest that you treat that particular infection with herbs...not just the symptoms.

But, you can also help with taking herbs for specific issues.
For my nervous system, I take Greater Celandine, Kudzu (herbs)
I also take CoQ10, ALA (sometimes), B complex, extra B12.


(That's off the top of my head...there maybe more)

Oh, I also take hawthorne - this is for the blood vessels. I think poor blood flow can have an effect on the nerves.

Hi, Im not an expert or doctor, but in Buhners book healing Lyme (2nd Edition), pg 229 there is section on what to take for crawling sensations.(also muscle twicthes/tingling
B12 1,ooo mcg daily( lower to 500 as symptoms resolve)and/or...
Vitamin B-6:50 mg 2x daily(lower to 25 as symptoms reslove),says to read dosage/toxicity info p. 422.and/or...
Folic Acid: 400 mcg daily,and/or...
Magnesium 200-400 mg to 3x dailyand/or...
Sida acuta tincture:5-40 drops 3x daily, and/or....
Gabapentin(prescription): as prescribed.

For myself I take all of the above , but not the Gabapentin. I dont have the creepy crawling sensations anymore, I still get a few random muscle twitches and I backed off of the B6 as those symptoms lessened. Hope this helps, Sincerely, Jo

I also get this feeling of things crawling under my skin.
I noticed when I sting myself with bees the spirochetes or whatever they are will start crawling in the opposite direction.
They apparently know that the bee venom will kill them so they try to escape.
Hmm maybe I should try to surround them with multiple bee stings.
Is it the spirochetes crawling around or what the hell could it be?
Hopefully the bee venom will take care of these intruders.

I’m thinking it’s your nerves you feel. Irritated nerves can cause buzzing , crawling, burning, twitching .... etc
I don’t think you can feel spirochetes ?

I don't think it is parasites because they don't make sensations. They're not crawling inside your skin tissue lol. I get tingling in my legs and I attribute it to histamine/cytokine reactions or high glutamate, all from neuroinflammation/neuroLyme.

There's definitely some crawling activity in the subdermal region whenever I introduce an anti-pathogen agent. Some bactericidal herbs will also cause an increase in subcutaneous crawling activity.

I agree that muscle twitching can be related to irritated nerves. Crawling sensations under your epidermis is a whole lot more scary though. Good thing that most of us don't feel too many emotions anymore haha.

If you search this subforum for the keyword 'crawling' you will see that many fellow Lyme sufferers experience this feeling at some point throughout their journey. I doubt that it's just irritated nerves causing this subjective feeling of things crawling under the skin. And what's irritating the nerves in the first place anyway?
Just think of twitching eyelids and red itchy irritated eyes caused by foreign eye floaters.

Yes many lyme sufferers experience this 'feeling' - doesn't mean there's actually bugs crawling around.

Well the spirochetes are microscopic, right? So, not sure you could feel them moving around.

But, nerves can and do cause symptoms like that. For instance, I had a sensation of warm water running down my legs for awhile...It was nerve issues.

Same as the twitching...it's nerves malfunctioning...even though it feels like something is jumping around...it's not.
I get burning nerve pain...but again...nothing is burning me...it's the nerves malfunctioning.

Sounds like parasite to me. A week of ivermectin and albendazole would let you know,
