Has anyone had a bad reaction to AC? I took two pills earlier on an empty stomach and two hours earlier started to feel very unwell. My stomach began cramping (which I know is somewhat common with AC if not taken with a few cups of water). However, my skin began crawling as well increased body jerking began whenever I started to fall asleep. Not sure if this has something to do with the AC or something else?

Once in a while someone mentions having a problem reaction from the AC, and they switch to Bentonite clay.

You might try taking a much smaller dose and yes, chase it with lots of water. If there is no problem that way, you can always build up your doses.

I had the same problem, because I didn't know how important it is to be taken with a lot of water. Now I drink a full glass and I don't feel stomach issues when I take activated charcoal.

I felt that way when I first started taking it but it went away. Lots of water helps for sure!
