5 yo late on all shots may have lymes, should she have them today or wait for a diagnosis?

Well, whether she has Lyme or not, being that ill, all of the shots should not be given in one day - they need to be spaced out at least.

Now, you can determine if she should have the shots at all - but that's a slippery slope in my opinion.

I cannot imagine giving that child shots on her last day of abx. Antibiotics.
It's been a few decades since my daughter was in the public school system so I can't comment on how they administer them these days. Most of my friends here where I live, that took exception to the dislikes and dangers of vaccinations ended up home schooling their children.

It is so unthinkable that in this day and age the shots should contain mercury, but they do.

I would suggest that she is tested for Lyme at minimum. It is apparent that her immune system is trying to fight.

And a number of parents choose to not vaccinate. Many of the vaccinations they do now are mixed together so it's not like getting stuck many times. That's another issue....these combo vaccines.

Giving anyone, much less a child, a large number of vaccines in a short period of time can trigger many different reactions, many of them bad. I read that a 'mild' rash can occur in 1 out of 20 vaccinations.

I think if you're concerned then you should phone the clinic and talk to someone.

I don't know what to say...the parents will do what they want unless you can convince them otherwise.

I am definately watching for new symptoms... from what I gather it may keep reacting for a little bit... it's worth keeping an eye on... I learned along time ago to let the kids make their own decisions, I'm just a worrier and always want the best for them all...
I'm wondering if she gets that rash and symptoms again if I could give a 5 yo activated charcoal? She has also got her cough and runny nose back again... I wish they would all get tested for lymes i hate not knowing and worrying about them all of the time.. this lymes crap is for the birds, actually I dont even wish it on the birds..._anyways she seems better this morning...her cheeks are a little rosier then Usual...but.doing better...

My daughter got a tickbite and the tick broke, it took me an hour to get all of it out. She was doing well and had no symptoms. 2 mo later she went with her father to the doctor because she started to have some mild symptoms. My husband didn't know any better and he let the pediatrician give my 5 year old (at the time) her 8 vaccines (about 4 shots) including Polio, DTap and some others. Within 2 weeks, she lost the ability to walk and her gut was on fire. She didn't smile for months and she was laying on her stomach using a pillow all the time, with a heating pad. She started to wet her bed and have accidents although she was potty trained for a couple of years. I am slowly finding out that the ingredients in the vaccines have the ability to destroy the gut.

I would encourage your children to look up the ingredients and decide what to do. My daughter is doing better with the lyme symptoms but we are still working on healing her gut. If she has sweets or anything that is not organic, her gut is on fire. She also has problems falling asleep but not as bad as before. I would wait until her gut is well.

I didn't realize that vaccines can damage the gut. But they do. The MMR vaccine is one of the worse on the gut and there is plenty of science to back it up. If they do the vaccines, the best thing to do is detox. I would do anything to change what happened that day! She has endured tremendous pain and the pediatrician suggested she was making it up! No help!

SIMELA1 am so sorry that you and yoir daughter had to go through all of that, how horrible and scary! I so appreciate you sharing your story. I am so afraid that something like that will happen to my Granddaughter. I swear I would protect her with my life but like the others have said I need to be respectful of my children's decisions and they are not really to worried about something bad happening. They still think they are invincible.. they told me that I need to stop reading so much....I had her last night again and she was only having mild symptoms. A bump here and their on her leg and a stuffy nose but she still isn't back to her spunky self, And hasn't been for over a month. She's been sick for along time. I did ask the kids if we could give her activated charcoal and they laughed it off...I even tried to show them the activated charcoal link. It would not have hurt to try it and be on then safe side, kids are hard sometimes. It gives me no choice but to sit back and observe I guess... I don't dare give anything to her that they don't ok, so I'll just keep praying I guess... so far it hasn't been an emergency.. I am praying they wait a little while before her next shot... and that they would at sometime do research and come to the realization that this lymes could be real and get tested and if needed get some treatment... they are so smart about learning other things but when it comes to the real important stuff they close their eyes, this is the way I feel, of course I could be wrong. . I hate not having her so I could keep an eye on her... but I am only Grandma and a Grandma that worries way to much at that.... I do Love my Sweet little darling! I'd like to keep her around for awhile! A long while!
