You know those cardboard tubes that come inside wrapping paper? The light/thin ones, not the heavy ones. Have you ever been bonked on the head with one? It's a light thud, doesn't hurt. That's what I felt on the top of my head today. All of a sudden, I felt dizzy, my hands were sweaty, and I had big anxiety. I felt weak and like I might tip over. I also had a slight, dull headache after. What the heck? I still feel dizzy (which is usual) about 4 hours later.
Previous to incident I had: A couple sips of Bulletproof coffee (coffee, butter, MCT oil - I have those pretty often - although not together), a sugar-free/wheat-free scone - I had not eaten in 4 hours.
My theories:
- Blood pressure drop
- Barometric pressure (it started raining about an hour later)
- Meniere's (ENT says I have it, I think it's a result of Lyme)
- Neck out of alignment
My scary fears:
- Anuerysm
- Stroke
- Circulation or nervous system malfunction
Someone please tell me this is just the Lyme and not to worry. Has anyone had this? This is the second time this has happened. Last time it was about
a month ago and I ended up having a massive panic attack after. Obviously, I have anxiety, but I just can't tell the difference between Lyme and these odd episodes. about
a week ago my blood pressure went high due to Byron White herbs. I was on 1 drop per day, but I was herxing really bad and my LLMD has me on a break.I think it is 'just' lyme...but if you are truly worried about
it being an aneurysm or a stroke - then you need to go to the ER...at the very least call your Dr.'s office tomorrow.
Is there someone with you that can check for signs of stroke?
FAST - Facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulties, time to call (time is of the essence)
or another acronym:
STR (for stroke)
S = smile (can you smile - look in a mirror)
T = talk - can you speak a simple sentence
R = Raise both arms..can you do that
I don't know the warning signs of an aneurysm.
