Can u test antigens at all if u have chronic Lyme?

So I just had a good allergy test and pancreas test all is normal my first thought was relief then I remembered if u get a Lyme test u usually test negative bc no antigens so jw are my tests accurate or false bc I have Lyme. I really want to be OK but Everytime I get a test and am happy I'm normal I go home to live with all of my symptoms this literally makes u feel like ur crazy all my tests always come back normal.

An allergy test and pancreas test do not look for the same types of antibodies or reactions that Lyme and co., would elicit. So I think you can assume that you wouldn't get a false negative type of reading from these two.

The doctor said both tests test antigens in your blood it confused me bc if Lyme makes ur antigens inactive so how can they do test to check if they're being disturbed by foods or mold? Just wanted to be sure I'm glad it's not a false negatives bc the less wrong with me the better his use of words just confused me.

What the Lyme bacteria do is create a situation where it is virtually invisible to our white cells. Our antibodies get no 'call' to come out to try to destroy anything.

However, the Lyme bacteria is only trying to protect itself, and I doubt it bothers trying to protect any other organisms in us.


Think "its every germ for itself" in us.
