I'm so glad I came on tonight because I've been wanting to ask the same question! I've been doing infrared sauna ecently 3 times a week for 30 mins and most times not even sweating at all. I do know it still makes me feel better, but I really want to actually sweat out toxins... Anyway, I guess eventually it'll start happening as I get further along in treatment?

I rarely sweat now, and that's different than it used to be. I crawled up in the attic today to retrieve some moth balls and for the first time in months my face was dripping with sweat, it must be dysregulation like a thermostat hormone that won't switch on normally to produce armpit/body sweat. Strange symptoms if you've never experienced it yourself. If you can stimulate sweating via exercise or sauna more power to you it's great for detox.

Just something to think about. The body's core temperature is regulated by the hypothalamus in the brain. It also regulates thirst, hunger, sleep, and circadian rhythms among many other things. The hypothalamus receives its actions from leptin and leptin is regulated by gut microbiota. If you have a hypothalamic issue, then you most likely have a gut microbiota issue.

What most likely happens is that your body has had too much oxidative stress due to pathogens and your immune response. One way to reduce oxidative stress is to kill less pathogens. To do this, your body lowers its core temperature and blood flow is reduced to areas when more pathogens reside. This helps reduce problems from oxidative stress. It's not a good thing, but it is the lesser of two evils.

It was after my Babs treatment that I no longer had constantly (freezing) cold hands and feet. Even in the summer heat, I wore socks and never went barefoot, and in 90 degree heat and high humidity, my hands startled people by how cold they were. Hubby used to insist that I wear socks to bed too! LOL!

But, now I've warmed up, and my body temp is in normal ranges too. It dipped down when my thyroid went down, but now that I'm treating that, my body temp came back up to normal ranges again.
